| The two wing sections, with upper grills welded 3" on center, are securely welded to the door posts. The horizontal wood in the wings both complements the stall door and shortens the length of the vertical wood, thereby increasing its strength. The same scalloped gussets that are a design feature of the stall door are also present in the wings, beautifully and sturdily holding the horizontal wood in place. The bottom of the wings are open for vertical wood, which slides into the double-rolled heavy duty steel channel. Fill the bottom panels with our gorgeous exotic hardwood or maintenance-free, high density polyethylene lumber. A grain feed opening for ease of feeding comes standard on the left wing.
Between the stall door and each adjoining wing is a heavy steel post, bolted to the floor and topped with a solid brass flat finial featuring hidden attachments. Optional round brass ball finials are available for that added touch of elegance and class.
The stall door features a unique finger latch which can be opened with just one hand from either inside or outside the stall - a feature you'll find so handy when you have a horse in the other hand. The stainless steel and brass latch is mortised into the steel door frame with an adjustable, stainless steel striker plate. This latch and striker plate combo, similar in design to the front door latches in most homes, prohibits the loud clang you're probably used to hearing when a stall door is shut.
Your choice of 192 powder coating colors is standard with the Lexington, which will give you an incomparable finish. Choose one to complement - or offset - the color of the barn, stone or other finishes already present in your facility.
We have spent countless hours researching the hardware that goes into all our stalls, and are proud to offer the highest quality hardware available, which is included in the price. We're sure you'd rather be in your barn than at the hardware store.
