AUTOMIST means AUTOMATIC The AUTOMIST system automatically gives a synchronized spray that evenly distributes coverage of insecticide over an entire facility during each timed spray duration. AUTOMIST systems help aid in the control of diseases carried by insects and parasites, thus reducing the potential spread of infection and contamination. AUTOMIST systems are the popular choice of livestock owners and breeders nation-wide. With a very effective and economical control of insects, it's easy to see why. AUTOMIST systems are versatile enough to fit in to any application and can be easily expanded to accommodate facility growth. The AUTOMIST utilizes a 55-gallon reservoir (also available in a smaller 30-gallon unit and a heavy duty unit for large facilities)and the MINIMIST utilizes a 14-gallon reservoir. Both systems use the same electric timer that combines reliability with ease-of-use. Nozzle assemblies and tubing amounts are quoted based on the size and characteristics of the facility the system is being installed in. One AUTOMIST system can operate up to 60 nozzles. One MINIMIST system can operate up to eight nozzles. For systems larger than 60 nozzles, the heavy duty AUTOMIST system is required. |

Pyrethrum (also known as pyrethrin) This chrysanthemum-based insecticide gives unsurpassed knockdown and kill and is the traditional type used in automatic systems. We use a 6% concentrate of Pyrocide 7369 which is EPA approved in dairy and livestock application, is biodegradable, and is made from chrysanthemums. Use two quarts mixed with 49 gallons of water to fill a 55-gallon system. |

Horse Power Z2001 Formulated with a strong 0.23% natural pyrethrin along with repellent, Formula Z2001 is nothing less than great. Formula Z2001 has citronella added for a pleasant fragrance as well as an aid in grooming and coat conditioning. This product kills and repels stable flies, horn flies, horse flies, face flies, deer flies, mosquitoes, gnats, ticks, fleas and lice. Ready to use in a spray bottle, Horse Power is available in quart or gallon sizes. |

Permethrin Permethrin (13.3%) is a synthetic residual insecticide and can be used in Automist and Mini-Mist systems or with Porta Spray. It can be applied directly to walls and ceilings. This insecticide is recommended in the larger barns for additional cost savings. Use 48 oz. (1 1/2 quarts) to fill an Automist 55-gallon system or 16 oz. (1/2 quart) to fill a 14-gallon Minimist system. (It is highly recommended that P.B.O. be used as a resistance additive on a regular basis.) |

Odor-Mist Odor Mist is a concentrated odor neutralizer that neutralizes odors rather than covering them up. Odor Mist destroys nitrogenous, sulfurous and other odors. It is water based so it can be put into automatic insect control systems to create a pleasant atmosphere every time it sprays. |

P.B.O. P.B.O. is an additive, partially derived from the bark of the sassafras tree, recommended for use in conjunction with Permethrin in automatic systems to prevent insect resistance. For best results, use 48 oz. (1 1/2 quarts) in a 55-gallon system. |
