Dutch door specifications
| Our Dutch doors are built in two sections from heavy gauge steel for a truly solid and safe door. The upper and lower doors are each attached with two stainless steel, ball bearing, adjustable hinges to a steel frame which surrounds the door opening. The stainless steel finger latches on both top and bottom can be opened inside or out - no key needed - and no protruding bolts. Designed to fit a 48" x 96" opening, these beautiful and functional doors can be ordered with optional matching internal "chew" frames, so that the horses don't have access to, and thus can't chew, the internal wood frame of the building.

| The Dutch door can be opened as a whole door or with the top half open and bottom half closed. Try one of our magnetic door stops with your Dutch door for a hands free way of keeping the door secured to the barn.
Both top and bottom sections have our unique finger latches, which can be opened from either the inside or the outside of the stall - a great safety feature. The stainless steel latch is mortised into the steel door frame with a solid cast brass striker and stainless steel adjustable striker plate for smooth and quiet closing.
For the most durable and long lasting finish available, your Dutch door will be powder coated - not painted - with your choice of 192 colors. In addition, we offer the industry's highest quality hardware available, which is included in the price.
