Predesigned and pre-engineered barn information
| Our solution for your barn and/or arena project brings high quality sustainable designs, materials, and building services into one location - Trilogy Barn and Stable Company. What makes a Trilogy stable better? Read on...
Trilogy stable styles are designed for visual appeal of classic wood barn styles and materials.
- Many barn kits are pre-manufactured assemblies of materials that have no relation to residential or classic barn materials.
Timber frame construction shows the heart of the structural system with historical roots in how barns have been built for centuries. Exposed connections are of powder coated solid metal.
- Other barn kits typically use pole barn - also known as post frame - type construction.

Trilogy wood is natural, dried, Ponderosa pine, and not chemically treated. Trilogy's timber frame construction does not have posts embedded into ground or concrete but instead is set on top of concrete and therefore does not need to have chemical treatment to resist decay. The result of this is the beauty of natural pine wood exposed throughout your barn.
- Other barn kits use chemically treated and less attractive wood.
Ponderosa pine is used throughout the structure for the beauty and warmth of natural wood and visual continuity.
- Other barn kits use other species, oriented strand board (OSB), or plywood.

Trilogy stables arrive at your site with lumber pre-cut to fit at the factory.
- Many other barn kits are only a lumber package of off the shelf pieces from a lumberyard that your contractor has to sort, individually cut, and fit together.
Trilogy offers designs with many options including loft spaces for storage, office, or living quarters.
- Other barn kits may not be able to support second floor spaces and uses.

- Many other barn kits offer very little flexibility.
Trilogy stables are thoughtfully designed for horses with a 10´ sidewall height in all stall areas and 10´ high aisle doors.
- Many kit barns and structures have 8´ height.

Trilogy stables have 4´ deep overhangs over the stalls to offer weather protection for shutters and Dutch doors. These overhangs can be increased to 10´ or 12´ covered area over runs.
- Other barn kits have little or no overhangs as standard.
Trilogy stables are designed for light and ventilation that benefit horses and people.
- Other barn kit designs are more appropriate for equipment storage, with little thought to light and air.
